HELP DEAD CAR!!

I left my headlights on all day at school, when i came out to the car it was dead. I tried jumping it and sparks flew. I tried jumping it agian and nothing. So i went to sears and baught a new battery. I came back to school put it in and still nothing. Whats wrong with my car? Did i blow my fuse for my altinator and if so where can i find it? Thanks alot.

i dont believe hondas have fuses to the ALTERNATOR only ford and chevy if im not mistaking, any way 1st do you have a stock radio if so you need the code if you dont have the code take the radio out, try that first

when the sparks flew, you may have blown a fuse, but probably not. i guess it could be your starter, especially since you saw sparks fly with your old battery.

wow, good luck with your problem. If all else fails, tow your car back to Honda. Even though you left your lights on, they should be able to repair the starter or whatever may be the problem under warranty.

My car gives off a whiney noisey when I take the key from the ignition, while the lights are still on. But sometimes I don't even notice that until I'm about step out.

Whew i figured it out, when i tried jumping it i blew the battery fuse that was under the hood. I found this out after i baught a new battery and yeah our cars do have an alternator fuse its in the inside of the car in the fuse panel. But thanks for your help!

Civic is stilly my daily driver. The Nsx is in texas and i can hopefully pick it up by july.

the alternator fuse is teh 80 amp fuse under teh hood. costs $10 from honda and was the most expensive fuse ive ever bought ;_;

Just wondering, did you hook up both positive and negative to your battery when jumpstarting?
