i suggest you use the one that came with it, and save some money for future mods

well since the tie bar came with the sway bar, you'd expect it to be the best combo. plus the tie bar cant be felt as much as an upper rear strut bar.

A tie bar won't give any benefit to the handling. It is there because in older civics some control arms cracked because of the stress of larger sway bar. Because the progress bar is 22mm it puts a great deal of stress on where it bolts on to. They put a tie bar there just to be on the safe side. Just use the one that comes with the combo.

Yeah, plus all tie bars that come with sway bars look beefier than every other tie bar. The Neuspeed one looks nice, the Progress one of course, and the Comptech one. Those are all nice and they mount not only to the lower control arm bolts, but to the sway bar bushing brackets as well. Er, they provide a re-inforced mounting spot for those sway bar bushing brackets. The other tie bars don't do this.

Yes it does fit. You're installing it wrong or something. Here's the DIY: DIY: Progress Rear Sway Bar & Mounting Kit All I know is that I had (past tense) the DC Sports rear tie bar. I sold it and got the Progress rear anti-roll bar/tie bar combination. I haven't looked back since. It's better!

Yeah, but you only have to do it once. Is that your only problem?
