just remove the driver side wiper. Then losen the bolt on the passenger side wiper and align it until it turns enought to work on the driver's side window also.
Some peeps call it rice. I dunno though.

take off both arms and then reinstall one on the passenger-side at an angle...
**the mount only moves so far, so if you put the arm at like 10:00 (facing the car) on the front window, that should do it**
i suck at explaining this in works...

Mercedes has done the 1 wiper blade for many years now (Mostly on the old E class). it is a much different system then a "normal" wiper system. it's fairly complex, but thats where I would start if you were interested in building one.
look at mercedeses, their arm actually extentds as it gets to the corner(i think) of the window(upper right and left) i think it would make most sence to have the real system instead of just one normal wiper.

I did that for a little while on my probe .. back in 98' ...
ahh... dem were da dayz
Anyway... at one point in time someone was selling a new motor to make the windsheild arm have more of a swing...
So instead of only wiping 70 degrees .. the arm would move 140 degrees or something like that.
