When it rains, it POURS!!
A couple of nights ago, my neighbour's father was visiting with his winnabagel (spelling?). You know, one of those retarded motor homes.
Anyway, he was backing it up, I guess he wasn't looking or something... cause my bumper made out with his rear hitch. So there's a nice couple of HOLES now. This would be my 4th incident with this car!
1st was by a crippled old man who ran into me in a parking lot...
2nd was by an old woman who jumped out in front of me from a parking lot...
3rd was the break in...
And now this.
But to add insult the injury... yesterday afternoon, my brother's Celica got broken into!
What the fawk is going on??? Aaargh. This is too much. He even had alarm, and it was broad daylight. Both our cars are... were... brand new.
So I'm getting it fixed hopefully this week. I'll take care of the stone chips while I'm at it.. what do you guys think of 3M invisible protectors? Any experience with it? It's a clear hard film that goes on the front of your hood...

Sorry to hear about your shitty luck.
I have the 3M chip guard on my hood and I think its saved it from a lot of chips. Especially since my car is black.
I would definitely recommend getting it for your car.

I think its around $100 to get it done, but I cant really remember.
I wish mine was done better. Im not very happy with the job they did compared to other peoples cars but it does the job.

there's so much stealing going on now. down town, up town. it's everywhere now. anyways got a couple stories.
friend with wrx parked his car in china town. he came back to see that the car's windows were smashed. his school bag and his gf's school bag was gone which had their notes for the exam.
2nd story. i was in kensington market sitting in the car when i see this guy stop to look at a bag that was put outside of the store (looked like rods of some sort.) he just picked it up and walked away with it.
at broadview, i was sitting in the truck and i look at the side mirrors. saw a guy walk up to a minivan and calmly tried to open the door. when he realized it was locked .. he walked away heading for the next car.
last story happened in scarborough. me and the delivery guy left the truck outside while we went in to deliver some stuff. we came back and the driver said, "someone came in here" ... i'm like huh? ...he pointed to the cabinet that was left opened. it was a good thing none of us left our walets are phones in there.
