well i finnaly got around to putting my sub/amp in. after carefully running all the wires under the carpet and to the trunk, i plug it all up and nothing happens.
the amp power led does not turn on!!!..
all wires and grounds are good. checked with wire checker and all wires get power when they should. the ground is good, shaved to bare metal and also wire tested. remote wire gets power wen headunit is on.
now could it be possible the amp is just broken? is there a fuse i can check thats inside the amp? ive opened the bottom panel of the amp and the internals seem good. nothing is black or looks blown.
this is the amp i have

please help
Mike

well seems like no1 can help. the amp is probably just toasted anyway. gonna go get my money back from my friend that i bought it from.
i plan on to purchase a Kicker KX600.1 mono CLass D amp to replace my broken one. as far as subs i want to get one 10 inch or twelve in sub. i am willing to spend 250ish on the sub (ebay price
)
what do u guyz reccomend? is my choice of amp ok?
edit* i was also looking around and i read that i could get the kicker KX800.4 amp. its a 4 channel amp. i was thinking maybe bridge 2 channels to power the one sub, and have the last 2 channels maybe power some components (which i plan on getting in the future). is this the way to go? cuz id really preferre a one amp setup. plus this amp seems to be cheaper then the KX600.1
all input is appreciated!
