Does it look weird? Too much tire? How much of a drp, if you are lowered? Pics?

Just took my Volks off Thursday -- now the 16's are back on for a while. When it quits raining I'll wash the car and take a picture for you. Maybe somebody else already has one taken that they can post.

I was running 195/50-16 Dunlops and the car really had to be LOW to get rid of the gap. It was dropped 1-1/2 in front & 2-1/2 in rear.

a 205-50-r16 is the same outside diameter as the stock (EX) 195-65-r15.
So if you got an EX like me and put the 16's on like I did, gap will be the same.
I'de send a pic but I havn't lowered yet.

The stock EX tires are 185. There is an overall 10mm difference though between 65/r15 and 50/r16. The 16" wheel being smaller.

10mm do you think you'de really be able to see that?
My bad on the 185 vs 195, all I know is my set up is very close to stock total width.

Here's a pic of the 195/50's from last year -- their sidewall is 2/10" shorter than the 205/50 would be, so there will be a slight difference, but enough to matter visually? You will have to be the judge.

I didn't think the 195's looked awkward--I quickly got used to it and liked it, but you know how new parents get accustomed to their ugly baby and think it looks cute
