Hey guys,
I am about to get Koni Struts (inserts ) put into the front end of my civic, but eh, the place that I checked with wants $714.10...That includes the strut inserts, labor, and tax. I think that is kinda steep for 2 struts? I know that they are also doing the work for putting the struts together on this mod. I got ahold of Koni and they said that the inserts are around $220.00 per strut. Damn, anyone else got any better ideas...Or maybe a cheaper solution. I am pretty sure that the Koni's are still the only ones on the market for our cars for the front right? I have Koni on the rear....Cuz the rear blew on me....But what about the front? I am just trying to get a stiffer ride...But can't achieve that with the stock ones on there.

Price?
Where can I get that price on what you are saying? Also, what is the exact name of the items I need to pick up. I was thinking the same thing since that is s much money to begin with. So I might as well get a true coil over kit.
i got quoted from one of shop around S. California., but since basic damper not out yet, " due at this end of april" i cant get any exactly price, but it goes on sale will roughly between $850~910. if you lucky or hookup, u might get lower.
think about it, 1250 retail price on Tein SS, i can get that for 1030. and basic damper is retail for $990, so might lower to around 850. also new stuff, price is not going to lower.
I wonder if we can pick up at their office, cuz we all at So. California, and like 40miles away from my home~

Tein SS
I was interested in the Tein SS actually. So lemmie get this straight. True Coilover kit is basically the best thing you can do when you lower our 7th gen at this time? Meaning that desired height and no need to get aftermarket struts or anything?> Can the stiffness be adjusted as well for the ride? Sorry..I just know nothing on true coilover kits.
one other brand like BG, also coilover, but dont know their quality, and some others non-brand coilovers, which ranges around $500.
well, tein ss is more stiffness i belive, cuz more sporty/competition combine cuz that damper force adjusable, then basic just height adjustable, so its for daily driving.
well, i'm not to clear and hows coilover ride. For me, all i want is lower look, cuz koni strut is cost like 700, ripped off, cuz only strut that out for our car. sux, i dont know why our 7th civic performance parts made so slow than other car., wtf......when my car reach 50k miles, i going to get suby's WRX.

The Tein SS rides stiff but you can adjust that, i have the SS and i love the height and the reid on them IMO i would spend the extra cash and grab the SS rather than the Basic
