Ok... I called London Honda and they told me it would cost $296 to install a set of lowering springs. WTF? Am I getting raped? Sounds kinda expensive to me....
Well... you asked how much to lower it, there are many ways.
Coil Overs, Lowering Springs, Cut Springs, etc...
Than later on you may require to change the stock shocks... it depends on your budget.

$296 or whatever is expensive, but it is a big job. Do it yourslelf dude. Just give yourself lots of time, make sure you have a 14mm deep socket, jackstands, and a tie bar tool. You don't even need a spring compressor with goldlines.

That stupid 'killer info' popup is driving me insane!!
I don't know if GCs need a spring compressor. I had it on hand when I did my install, I just didn't need it, just give Canadian Tire the deposit and they'll let you use it.

make sure you get a camber kit with your springs or you WILL regret it. my friend f*cked his tires up so severely on the inside that one of his rear tires actually blew up in his garage. lucky for him he wasn't on the highway doing his usual 200 kph when it happened.

just installed my rear Goldlines replacements for the old saggin version...your right you dont need a spring compressor, but it took me and my friend to put the strut back on, it was a bit of a b**tch. Definitly worth it to do it yourself though, cuz you know its gonna be done right and free.

Tricky -Why did it take you and a friend to put the rear struts back in? I did it alone no problemo.
Mikee - 45 mins eh? did they have four people working with air tools on your car or what? 15 mins/ corner.

I was only gonna go through London Honda because it won't affect my warrante if they do the job.
But since the Goldlines don't need a spring compressor, maybe you guys (CoupeStylz and Big) could guide me through mine. I don't mind doing all the work but it'd be cool if you guys were there to guide me through it.
Maybe we could make a day of it. Let me know when you guys are gonna get together to install Big's Ground Controls.

With Ground Controls, you'll need a spring compressor. My cousin installed his GC's about a month ago and i had to go rent a spring compressor from Crappy Tire.
