Honda was the first company to pass emissions laws with a car that had no cat converter. Honda was a pioneer in making the gas/electric hybrid, and the insight gets 20+mpg more than any other gas/electric hybrid on the market. Honda just released the first government approved hydrogen fuel cell car called the FCX, available starting in california.

Sounds like a lot of "firsts" for a company that you say doesn't make 'futuristic' cars. Honda leads the industry in engine technology, as well as many other technical fields. (ASIMO anyone?)

So you got my answer.... honda.

i dont want to sound like an *** s200man but the question was which company produces the most futuristic "looking" cars. nothing about engine, emissions, or anythign else but looks for that matter. my opinion is infinity.

Yea, Yea I know. I am getting a 4-point harness. But the ones i want are $300 for the set. I am currently building a new computer so the harnesses will have to wait until next month.

It's all a work in progress.

I'm guessing he posted his response before the thread was edited
I'd say mazda's rx-8 is the most futuristic looking at the present time. Sadly, the honda insight looked fairly different for it's time, at least when it came out.

yes, the original thread post was edited, and did NOT originally say futuristic looking. It merely said the most futuristic cars, which I took as I stated, honda's look to the future in their technical prowess and industry leading fuel system in the FCX.

It depends on what category, but I think "the future" is asking for cars like honda is making right now.. very efficient, reliable, mother-earth friendly cars, at reasonable prices.
