I love to listen to Jack Johnson in the car for slow music. John Mayer or Dashboard Confessional are also pretty good for slow music.
Good fast driving get you pumped music is Breaking Benjamin's CD Saturate: Surpisingly quite good. Nirvana's greatest hits CD or the Foo Fighters new CD are also good.
