okay all i want to know is whether i should get silver or gunmetal vx-8's for a black? also, 17 or 18? (maybe if someone has some pics of the rims on a black civic it would make it easier)

i live in minnesota where roads aren't perfect so i'm concerned about damaging the 18's. if i got the 17's i would put on the biggest tire i know it would make my rim look smaller but i think it's more practical. thanks!

IMO, I think it depends on what color scheme you are going for your car. if you got dark headlights, I would get gunmetal. If you got like clear headlights, I would get silver.

hey thanks you two! as far as color scheme... i like the jdm style headlights... that will be about all i'm going to do besides the rims (and of course tint).

i've been leaning gunmetal i just want to know what it looks like first, and um, 17 or 18 good for mn?

The silver would look better. I also think whit would look really good. You should get 17's with a 215/40/17 or 215/45/17 tire.

silver is so plain, only reason i got silver is cause my wheels only came in silver.
and 18s fo sho.. 17s are so small.. hell i want 19s..

Thos are the same rims I want to get for my car, and its Red as well, I am thinking I will go with Gunmetal, but I am not 100%.

I think on a Black civ the silver would look nice if you are going for that color scheme.
