Maint. Req. Light
Hello everyone,
i posted this the other day but i think it has been lost. Sorry if i'm wrong.
Anyway. I've dealt w/ the issue about the light going on at 10,000 miles
so i know how to turn it off. I just would like to know if the same kind of thing
occurs at around 18,000 miles as well. My Maint. Req. Light blinks for about 10
seconds when i turn on my car. I just want to know if i can just turn it off
or if i have to get it looked at.

Rep Power: 0 Yes I agree READ THE OWNERS MANUAL!!!!!!!!! READ THE OWNERS MANUAL!!!!!!!!!! READ THE OWNERS MANUAL!!!!!!!! This question has been asked about 50 times and I'm not joking. Many questions can be answered by reading the manual plus you learn a few things too. For example: I found out that there's a manual crank handle in the trunk for the sunroof in case the power goes out or the sunroof goes bad.

Rep Power: 0 no, i know how to reset it. I reset it at 10,000 miles. I just want to know if the light is supposed to blink at 18,000 miles. Does anybody know that answer, or just continue to flame me somemore?

The light will come on every 8K-10K miles. If you don't reset it, it will be constantly ON to remind you. Now please, stop asking this topic and start searching. This topic has been covered too many times and it should be LOCKED! PERIOD.
