Well my lady's b-day is coming up. want to do something memorable or her and was thinking about taking her to catalina islandhow much does it cost to get there? i heard they have boats that take you for like $20. anyone have a number or know a company that does? whats the last boat ride back cause =( she cant sleep over. know any nice sushi resteraunts(cause she loves sushi) there?

or if anyone has any other ideas, that would be great.

if i were you, i would really look into going. make sure you really want to go because there isn't much to do there.. i went there and finished seeing the whole island in like 10 mintues.. dunos tho if you really want to go.. i'll ask my parents which one we took... a babie almost thru up on my jacket! it was a white polo one too! k blah blah blah

10 mins? it cant be that badd.. isnt catalina like the size of a city? if we find something to do all day in LA i'm sure there's things we can find there.. any shopping centers? and there's always the beach right. how was the boat ride? wasnt that nice? i dunno maybe it wasnt as fun cause it was with family? there is just so much you can do with them..

but your a chick(dont mean it in an offensive way), what would you see as something "romantic" or memorable. what would you want from your man on your b-day. i was thinking bout disneyland too cause she's been wanting to go and hasnt been there since jr high graduation.

...there is nothing to do in Catalina except play minature golf and get Salt Water taffy!!! But I did snorkel there, and that was cool.

Maybe think about taking the train to San Diego...Gaslamp Districk is like 5 blocks away from the train terminal. Maybe Firesnake can get you in a club for free Maybe get a hotel :devil:

well i've looked around and there's boats in like long beach, dana point and san pedro that will take you for like $40. or you could take a helicopter for like $80. if your still interested just ask and i'll give you the info.

blah maybe catalina isnt a good idea. starting to sound like a waste of $80 and 4 hours of traveling time.
i dunno bout train to daygo, maybe i'll just drive there and hit mission beach(or whatever pier it is with the rides). feel so powerless not having a car thats why. :P
ya hotel would be nice but i kinda feel its a waste to spend $50+ when she cant even sleep over.

ahh any more ideas? getting more and more stressful as the day gets closer.. in 2 weeks. yup her bdays on 420 how cool is that. haha.
