would it be necessary to pin the back of your hood down if wanted to mod the hood to where it would slide back along the side of the engine compartment with ball joints that attach to the front of the hood? the front of the hood would still be held down by the hood lock and the 2 ball joints that attack it to the rail. the back would not be held down be anything since it will slide back over the front windshield.i hope i made the clear enough so that you sort of have an i dea to what i am trying to do here. opinions are welcome.
