security system problem

i messed up my security system once before, took it to dealership and they said i had it in valet mode, so my alarm wouldnt arm. i did it again somehow, and i called back, and no one was there that knew how to fix it. i didnt see anything in owners manual...thanx in advance.

There's a button on the panel above where your left foot would be when you sit in the driver's sear. Try pressing it once.

Mine came with a seperate manual that explains how it works, check if you have it, its a bit complicated

I did the same thing ot my car and thought it was broken, turn the key two the second position, and within 5 seconds flip the switch to the OFF side, then remove the key and see if it worked, it takes a few tries to get it right.

There seem to be other ways to fix the valet mode issue, but here's what Honda told me to do.

Unlock the doors, insert and remove key from ignition 5 times rapidly, then lock and unlock the doors with the switch. Try your remote again, it should now work.
