Wheels balancing
Hey wheel balancing doesnt usually have anything to do with the car steering left or right. Usually that is the alignment. Wheel balancing is usually pretty easy to tell by vibration when driving and/or on the steering wheel. A tell tale sign is that the vibration increases or decreases as you speed up. For example you might be seeing the wheel shake at 120km/h but at 100 its very little.....and sometimes it will happen in stages...like maybe vibration at 70...then nothing...then at 100...etc....
If you have hit some major potholes or cooked a curb you might need to rebalance but usually its the alignment that goes first. Check you rim to see if the wheel is missing any of the weights.
As for balancing most places charges like 6-10 bucks each for doing them.
Installers usually dont charge for installing if you are buying new..but they charge for the balance. If they are used I have seen the shops just charge the balancing charge
