Racing Hart rims: C2 vs. M7

17" Racing Hart C2 rims or 17" Racing Hart M7 rims??

I have a taffeta white '02 EX coupe and I am trying to decide which set of rims would look better on my car. Both sets are used, but they are in great shape and they come with tires.

The 4 C2 rims (lug pattern 4x4-1/2) with 215/40ZR17 Pirelli tires are $950 or best offer.
The 4 M7 rims (4 lug) with 205/40ZR17 Salcon tires are $1000.

Now, which ones would you choose if you had to decide between the two styles?

4x4.5 (which I think is 114.3 mm) isn't gonna fit... you need 4x100.
Never heard of Salcon tires, but the $1000 price sounds ok.

Are they 3-piece C-2's or 1-piece C-2 Evo's?

From looking at the small black and white picture in the ad it looks like the C2s are the 1-piece Evos. With the lug pattern being a different measurement than my Civic those rims are now out of the question though.

After posting this thread I talked to the owner of the 17" RH M7s. He told me that they are only 3 months old and have 3 month old Falken tires (ad said Salcon tires ). He said that he paid $1300, but he'll let them go for $850 because he hasn't had any offers yet and he needs to sell them right away.
$850 for nearly new M7 rims with Falken tires seems like a great deal. I like the rims and Racing Hart is a trusted name in the "wheel market". I just hope they will look good on my white '02 EX. Should I go for it?

ok.... What you need to know is they aren't Racingharts. Racingharts are expensive Japanese-made wheels made by Hart Wheels. RH Evos bear resemblence to the real Racingharts and several other high end rims, but are made in the US and in no way associated with Hart Wheels. The Evos are still quality wheels, but not up to Hart standards... real ones sell for $400-$700 a piece

I don't know very much about Racing Hart wheels, so I assumed that RH Evos were related to wheels from Hart Wheels.

I still think though that the M7s w/tires for $850 is a deal I probably shouldn't pass up. Though they are nowhere comparable to wheels made by Hart Wheels in Japan (just look at the price difference) I too, like Boilermaker1 said, think that RH Evos are quality wheels.
I wish I had the money for OEM Racing Hart wheels, but RH Evos will have to do for now.

that may have been true...but racing hart wheels are now produced in taiwan

edit: oh yeah, and RH Evos are actually affiliated with Racing Hart. They both are properties of DAZZ motorsports.
