As eluded to in the subject, Eric (SaiyanMatador) won 1st place yesterday at IDRC!!! I wanted to Congradulate him again and share the awesome news with everyone! He has been working his tail off for this and became the best yesterday! I could not be more proud of him and just wished we were all there to cheer him on. Not to mention, he could pay for the celebration afterwards with his prize money, just kidding, Eric! Duh, I posted this originally in the West forum and should of posted it here, sorry about that. Again Mike, thanks for the info.! Anyhow, it is such good news that it deserves to be posted twice! And again, hope everyone had a great meet last Friday!
hey screamer just for yours and anyone else whom doesnt know about bracket racing, but running consistent times, in this hot Arizona damn near 85 degree weather the engine experiences a condition called heatsoaked head, or engine bay, theoretically the hot wheather change should be harsh on the car considering it was just experiencing 42 degree weather, the computer has to change its fuel air ratios, so times slow a bit in this hot weather, so just for your information all
eric
by the way it was 15.662 screamer

I'm sorry Eric, Elliot told me it was 16 that you dialed in at and that is what you ran everytime. I certainly did not mean to put the wrong info. down, I just put down what he told me after you had talked to him. Sorry about that!

sohc, ive raced del sols, with swaps, turboed engines that run 14's think theoretically, its possibly everyone!!! Ive raced an svt focus and ran a 15.7 that time, he was still at the starting line when i was down the track, or so it seemed, but he was just a completely crappy driver, but i thought he was bullshitting me, thats why i accepted the challenge, he ended up running a high sixteen when he finally got goin, and thats bone stock, no added or dropped weight, possiblities are limitless for above average time, cost efficiency
fyi, food for thought my friends

lease: Saiyan - you are talking about blackVtec99? Well if you think i'm him, you're mistaken. I've only ever had a 2k1 civic sedan for about 1 yr 2 months and since then a protege 5... get your facts straight. Since when did i claim to have 245whp about ANY car i've owned? None. Btw, blackvtec99 can't even speak english that well. Go figure.
hmm, well i like the protoge 5, i think its sleak awesome, but the totally deck out version for about 18 or 19 grand, fully loaded out the door right, you have one, anyways i wanted one stock, that had good colors, silver preferably, but i would have traded my civic in for that car and made that faster, but ill never trade my civic for anyone elses car for as long as i live, i like my vic even if it doesnt run, ill have it for as long as possible
eric
eric
Well the vic and the pro 5 are very similar. I'd say the vic has better build quality and reliability / gas milage and would even dare say sounds nicer at higher revs 6000+, but the pro 5 looks nicer imo + practicality (very roomy) and handles a bit better, and you get more
stock for your money.
stock for your money.
