projectors and blubs PROBLEM!!!!

hey all... ever since i put my projectors in(like.. a YEAR AGO!!!) .. my hiper white bulbs keep burning out and they barely last a month... one side will pop out one month.. then the other side will pop out the next month!!!! WTF?!?!?! has this been happening to anyone else?!! with all the damn $$ i spend on bulbs i might as well just buy an HID kit... i seriously thought that taking my daytime running lights would fix the problem.. but it doesnt.. it just makes the bulbs last a week longer...

use 55W bulbs and you can lengthen the bulb life...I'm running MTEC H1's in my TYC's and I haven't had any problems so far...

Everything you guys said is true... the higher the wattage of the bulb the hotter it gets, which makes it burn faster.

I used to have that problem before...back when I was using crap bulbs. Little did I know, I kept buying "MADE IN KOREA" bulbs without knowing it, until this guy at a shop told me... KOREAN products are low quality....they dont last. He then gave me a set of H1s and H3s "MADE IN JAPAN" bulbs..... I think the brand is CEI.
Anyway, ever since I have'been using them and I havent had a burnt out bulb in a 6 months. I used to have to buy bulbs every 2 weeks before...but not anymore.
In conclusion, you get what you paid for. The Japanese bulbs are a little bit more expensive...but is not that much. Nowhere near as much as PIAA and they last and work great. Oh yeah and they are 100watts both H1 and H3.

I would probably have to vote for the MTEC bulbs, Japanese made & is often compared to PIAA. Ebay Link To MTEC Bulbs I think it's something like $25.00, i'm ordering these as well because I have heard nothing but good.
