You don't want to get 205/55/16

The tire calculator says it's slow by 1.6%.
Well, I had my Teins SLAMMED down a good 2.25-2.5 inches all around with my bald firestones.
But with these tires, I would have to raise it up a good .5 - 1 inch or my tires would be under the wheelwell.
So if you're gonna get 16's, just go for the 205/45/16's. It's worth it if you want to keep your ride slammed.
It's a good thing I can raise my car at will or I'd have some serious rubbing issues.

Sure it will look cooler but it will rack up the miles alot faster, why not a 205/50-16 anyway?

why not 215/50/16 and have your speedo the same? There's been a few threads that say 215's do NOT rub.
