XM Receiver
Hey, after hearing Havok2k1's Sirius radio, I decided I MUST get XM for my car. Here's my dilemma....I cant find the Alpine XM Reciver anywhere online for less than $249....(Retail). Anyone know of a website that has it for less?
Go to Epinions.com......jump around for the prices. My cousin got his Jensen MP3 Receiver for 130 or so when the retail price is 230. I'll find where he got it from and let you know. For now.....just search around usin Google.
When you get your tuner a trick location for the turner is right behind the cig lighter. Mine fits perfectly behind there and it's easy to wire. And for the antenna, i put mine on the rear deck between the speakers. Looks sexy and not very noticable. Let me know if you want picks
yeah it works fine. all the antenna needs is a metal surface beneath it, approx. 1 sq. foot. and a clear line of site to the sky. Just use some double stick tape along with the adhesive on the antenna and you'll be fine
The delphi receiver isn't like the alpine or pioneer. It has a cradle that has to mount and all the wiring runs to the cradle including the antenna. The main display piece is the receiver and is removable, but between the 2 pieces they are much larger then the alpine or pioneer rf xm control piece.
