um. as of now, whoterabbit. 28 cubic foot box for 3 15's the box takes up his whole trunk and his whole backseat. In a month or so, i'll probably have the second biggest with a 6 cubic foot box. subrage is also working on a pretty big one, mohawkboom has had too many.
if you mean biggest in power, whiterabbit ran 1925 watts for a while, right not he's got enough amps to run 2500ish, but he has nothing installed. I know a lot of people run around the 1600 watt rms area with jbl 1200's and 300 watt 4 channels. when i finish this install, i'll be over the 1900 rms watt mark.
if you mean number of speakers, fonto runs 4 12's, , whiterabbit is building for 3 15's, a 10" midbass , i'm building for 3 12's , and then one or two people have 3 10's, everyone and their mother has 2 12's
as to weight, whiterabbit takes the cake...
i cant think of any more ways to measure "big"...
basically, if you can imagine it, its highly possible. Just takes imagination and hard work.

<<<< has the most ghetto system
but it bumps hard and sounds nice IMO!!!! From what I have seen, I agree with Lud, WhiteRabbit has the biggest system both in terms of space taken up and power.

everyone has different tastes in what they like, and i dont post my install pics because:
#1 ive been working hard since last may on this project, and still not done. so i dont need to post these pictures and get useless advice on what to do about it when its not even done yet
#2 i dont need people telling me how they dont like this part or that part, i built it for ME, not you.
i cant think of #3. but people will just be talkign s**t abotu what part they dont like, or tell me i was stupid to do something like make it impossible to have passengers, or that they dont need this, that, the other.....
i get enough negativity from my roomates, dont need it here. but those pictures shoudl lay to rest anyones questions baout my install. I dont need praise, and i certainly dont need "that looks liek s**t". it is what it is. a work in progress.
Do I sense a weee bit of bitterness in WR? j/k dude. How did you get the processor in the back of your seat? Just open the back up and put MDF in the frame? (i'm guessing it's built like the rear seats) and then cut the fabric and glue it to the sides of the unit? I wanted to do something like that with my crossovers, but I wasnt sure about the framing of the front seats. And out of curiosity, what are your plans for the drivers door CD-Changer? Are you gonna glass it in to make it look flush? I never thought of putting something like that in the door. Props for originality.
I have 4800 watts as of now and am in the stages of sounddeading and wiring. I also will be without a backseat. I would already have my two 18's but I found out I owe tax money instead of getting money back. Oh well.....just pushes me back a month or so

no, i have a cover for the changer to take care of those gaps. thats all. you cant install the changer totally flush, nor do i care to, tho ive thought about putting a strip of black carpet around teh side, leaving the top the only silver there. *shrug* i have biger fish to fry righ tnow
the crossover was actually really simple, 9 foot RCA length from teh dash to the seat and up inside, i used backstrapping to bolt the wood in place, then screwed teh amp on that
i used a 1/4 inch pressboard material, cut in a rectangle 1 inch past teh outer dimensions of the crossover, then cut out the center the exact size. After spreading contact cement on, i carefully maneuvered it into place over the crossover, then pressed the fabric on. using a blade, i cut an X in the cloth, from each very corner. then folded then underneath and tacked them down.
the back litterally uses friction to hold in place, looks perfect!
routing the wires is an interesting chore, for sure..... =/

as of right now, i have good equipment with a very simple install, i like it, and i'm progressing with my system like everyone else ( but i have to admit, there are a lot more dedicated people out there that have really nice setups, and i admire these people )
keep up the good work guys

I built my system for SQ, not for SPL or "bumbs" or "bumps" or "boom boom". I've got:
-Eclipse CD8051 (with 8v preouts and no internal amplification)
-JL Audio 300/4 4-channel amp for cabin speakers
-JL Audio XR650-CSi components in the front (with independent crossovers)
-JL Audio XR650-CXi coaxials in the back (with independent crossovers)
-JL Audio 1000/1 subwoofer amp
-JL Audio 12W7 in a sealed box to exact specs (Got it before they had the new sealed boxes premade)
To be installed next weekend:
-Eclipse 5083 8-disc cd changer
-Eclipse 9002/9902 voice commander (we'll see how she works)
To be purchased still (scenario A):
-Clarion Sirius satellite tuner OR Delphi SKYFi XM satellite tuner
-Dension DMP3 mp3 jukebox
To be purchased still (scenario B):
-Clarion Sirius satellite tuner OR Delphi SKYFi XM satellite tuner
-Move the 8051 to where the cig lighter is and put a 12.1" ibook w/wireless keyboard in the dash
To be purchased still (scenario C):
-KVH mobile DirecTV antenna
-Two DirecTV receivers
-Eclipse retractable LCD screen in the dash
-Eclipse 7" widescreen LCD in the headrests
-Eclipse CD8051 (with 8v preouts and no internal amplification)
-JL Audio 300/4 4-channel amp for cabin speakers
-JL Audio XR650-CSi components in the front (with independent crossovers)
