they are pretty nice subs, esp. if you get a good deal on the price. some people don't like metal woofers, say they sound pingy (no good word for it ). they take more power to get started, but if you've got the power, they will hit hard.
I am running 2 Fosgate 12in in my trunk powered by a Sony 760w Explode. I had to dynamat my trunk completely because the rattle was really agervating me. But all in all they sound great. I also put a 200w x 4 Fosgate for the inside of my car and have it running 2 Cerwin Vega 6 1/2 and 2 Kenwood Excellon 6x9 in the back. Sounds great. I even had to dynamat the pannels on the sides of the back seats becaause I noticed a little rattle coming from there as well. I have a coupe 2k1 LX It might not be made for speed but I can make it sound and look good (hopefully) hehe
Get dynamat you don't want peaple to hear you rattle before they here your music.

I have two 12" Kenwoods in a sealed box. It sounds great and is loud too, but not that insanely loud. I'm not all about bass, I listen to a lot of music with highs and such. I've had the system hooked up since last August, and I think the rattle if starting to annoy me...

I'm running two 12" Kicker Comp VR's sharing a KX600.1 amp.. this is my first attempt at a system and I really havent heard many others so my gauge on how they sound may be unreliable.. but I can tell you that I love how low they get and still keep good SQ to boot. I'll join a number of you in saying that any form of dynamat is a MUST for our cars... do it BEFORE you start running wires and such to the usual trouble areas (rear deck, trunk lid, quater panels) its a pain in the azz if you ask me but I learned the hard way how to do things right so hopefully this'll help. Payce!
I only have 1 12, but I love it! Like someone else said, I just need to hear it in the car, don't need to hear it outside. 1 is more than plenty for me. At first I questioned whether it be good enough, since *everyone* seems to get 2 subwoofers, regardless of the size. But I'm very pleased.

I run 2 12'in solo baric L5 with kx600.1 amp. I think it sounds better then my friend's 15' JLw0. When I open up my stereo store I will be trying out the soloX, 18inch monster with two kx1200.1 and will also try out the visionik product line.
lol cant let it die... im running 3 hx2 power rockfords... and Im downsizin and upsizin at the same time... I just ordered one speaker... 1 JL W7 13'' ... the box should take up the whole trunk... so i guess its not how many speakers you have ... its just the quality of the ones you do. 3 12'' RF's sound great.. i mean my back window u can see it BEND up when they're on.. but Im hoping to get more SPL with the one JL :-)
