H&R Coilovers for Civic and RSX !!
I did a little research and found the part #'s for the soon to be released H&R Coilovers.
Civic part # is: 51806
RSX part # is: 50149
Tirerack says the RSX version is $1033.00, but not in stock yet.
I dunno if there is any difference, but they might be slightly firmer since the RSX is about 250 pounds heavier.
HERE IS THE HYPE:
Racing improves the breed. H&R Threaded Body Coil-Over Suspension Systems come directly from engineers who design and develop racing suspensions.
Threaded body means that the outside of the strut or shock tubes are threaded like a bolt. This allows the traded spring perch to be moved up or down to fine tune the ride-height, optimizing looks and handling.
Blue printed as coil-overs (not just a modified shock body), the H&R units are hand-made in Germany by H&R Speziafedern, under ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Standards. Strict attention to the function of the complete suspension system is the number one design priority.
H&R coil-overs have performance driving characteristics without harshness and can be used for weekend club sport events or lapping the public course at the Nurburgring.
The Coil-Over Kits pictured above represent just a few samples of those available from H&R. Coil-Over Kits range in price from $1,000 to $3,000 and are engineered specifically for each vehicle. Coil-Over Kits may combine different components than those pictured based on the vehicle's design.

This information is new to me and many people, and I didn't find a discussion to add it to.
I'd like to see a link if you know of one.
Search for H&R and you get nothing.
Search for coilover and you get no H&R coilover discussions.
Somehow find an H&R coilover discussion and I don't think you'll see the part # listed.

I'm so sick people don't want to discuss the subject, but yet feel like they have to respond in ways similar to your response.
If you don't want to discuss the subject MOVE ON.
Your response is a waste of your time and my time.

Sorry DIZZLE,
Just venting, nothing personal...
Thanks for the link too, the cup kit is cheaper and I think a bigger drop then the standard coilover.
The standard coilover drop is: 1.2-2.2 (FR) & 0.75-1.6 (RR).
I called optauto.com today and they stated they are not released yet.

I've owned H&R racing coilovers, and the ride is fairly harsh, but on smooth roads....it is amazing.
Comparing the H&R to Tein or B&G coilovers isn't really possible yet, but....
Both Tein SS and B&G owners say on the soft settings that the ride is close to stock, but you do feel more bumps in the road, and I would think the H&R's would be very similar. Performance should also be similar, all 3 products are "sport" not "racing" coilovers.
