8 AWG / 4 AWG?
I have decided on an amp for my JL Audio XR650CSi component set. Im going to run them off a HiFonics Apollo Son of Boltar. The only thing is that I can't find anywhere in the info what AWG wire I need. The fuse rating is 60 amps so im guessing AWG, but I just need to make sure.
4 guage is fine for your needs. no reason to run 8 guage anyways, a 4 guage kit on ebay goes for $36 shipped anyways.
I think you can get a 4 guage kit at walmart that has everything you need too for abotu as much.

I don't have $300 to spend on an amp, I am not competing or anything so I don't need a top of the line amp like JL, I just need one that will push these speakers by making them loud and clear.
