Frame bar (or whatever u want to call it) for 02+
well I finally got off my lazy **** to change my brake pads... during the process I realized the stupid Honda grease monkey went trigger happy with the impact gun on my wheel nuts... as they wont budge at all no matter how much I try with my big *** torque wrench.
so with the car jacked up, I decided to install the frame bar found in 02+ Civics (LX and EX... duno if HX and DX has it)... and put the sedan radiator cover on my coupe to finish the altezza.
here's some pics of the bar and the install process. I'll write up a DIY but I'm lazy.
first u should jack up the car... yes...

slide the bar in yo.

gotta drill a hole here since some 01 civics dont have a hole already there...
highlighted the bar... you can see it spanning across the engine bay to the other side.
haven't really feel anything yet since I didn't take a test drive yet, but I'll take grey's and honda engineers word that the bar does something. (or else they wouldn't have put it on 02+ civics) supposely stiffen it up a bit more and less wheel hop.

I made a sort of DIY on this; the link to it is in my sig. Although another one doesn't hurt. I noticed less creeks and squeeks coming from the front when going over bumps plus less wheel hop when doing burnouts. It's a good modification for the money spent.
