Massachusetts can kiss my *** twice too!
Well, I go into the garage today and as I'm getting in the car I notice the front driver's side wheel. Damn, it's bent in. Worse than the time me and Havok2k1 slammed into that curb in CT. It's not scratched or anything, but it is bent inwards maybe 3/8" from it's original position. So yeah, then I check the other wheel up front and it's bent too. Not as much as the driver's side one, but it's about as bad as the one I got in CT. Why me!
I think I must have done this up near Boxford. There were a ton of potholes there and I ran over several of them thinking that it wasn't a big deal. I guess I was wrong. I'll be more careful next time when I'm driving that way. I pumped up my tire pressure recently too, so that should have helped to prevent this sort of thing. Damn.
Looks like I might be getting 16's in the future. MA roads just have too many potholes, dips, deep manhole covers, etc.

You do know that you can sue the city for that s**t right? My friend had the same thing happen to him in Nashua, NH and the city paid for his rim. The roads here are so bad! The city needs to do their f*****g job and fix these f*****g holes!

Yeah, if you were in a city on a city road they should reimburse you for the cost of the wheels. If you were on a state road (like I was).. Kiss them goodbye and hope insurance will cover it.
Sorry man.. On a lighter note.. My new wheels are in and should be mounted and balanced Monday, along with fixed suspension and alignment.

Damn. I've got something even better to share now. One of the spokes on my rear driver's side wheel broke! It's cracked in half. Dayam! I didn't even notice when this happened. It must have been when I hit a pothole or somethin'?
Hmm... Guess what? I'm gettin' 16's. Probably Rota Circuit 8's. Wider tires this time too. Better tread rating too. I had Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's 215/45-17 /w tread rating of 280 AA A. Now I'll have 225/50-16's. Still Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's, but now with a 340 AA A tread rating. Kick ***!
The bad news is that after the purchase I will be flat broke. No more turbo project. I'll have to wait for a long while before I can pay off enough of my credit card to start buying things for the turbo again. Bleh. Oh well. I have enough things to worry about anyway.

Yeah, I've been broke for a while. Although now I'll be totally broke without even a credit card to fill up.
Quick Update: I e-mailed the place where I got my wheels from and they're going to contact the manufacturer to see if they'll give me a replacement for free. I took a few pics for them. Here they are...

I hope they give me a free replacement. If they do, then I'll trash the broken one (or try to sell it on Ebay). and mount the old tire on the new one. Then I'll have the two rear wheels re-balanced. Then I might just ride on them for a while. Although I might buy new ones (16's for more rubber) and sell the old ones. We'll see though. I'm thinking of 16x7 Gun Metal Rota Circuit 8's /w Kumho Ecsta Supra 225/50-16's with a tread rating of 380. Mugen replica's basically. Plus that tread rating is better than the 280 I have now. Hehe.
