I have two older Alpine subs that sound so nice. But look like hell, I was wondering if it screws them up to paint the front of the sub or not. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]
Any insight would be great.

Add weight I'd think ...... therefor change the sensitivity maybe ????

Be careful the paint doesn't eat at the foam surround or anything like that.

yup, you can paint, the weight wont matter. and yeah, if your worried about spraypaint dissolving a foam cone (dunno, might happen) then mask it off, better safe than sorry.

ive painted woofers before tho, and its alwys been fine. every one is a rubber surround tho

just don't gob the paint on and it's all good.. you might add 2-3 grams to the weight of the cone which won't affect anything.

They have rubber surrounds, not too worried about it.
