Engine air flow not smooth...

When my car is idling (600rpm), the air flow is not smooth. I can hear the air from the exhaust coming out in "short bursts"... I can also feel the engine shaking due to the airflow.

It has been doing this for the past 5,000 miles and the idle seems to be fine (500-750rpm). It sounds like the engine is going up and down 50rpm's...something like that, get it? My only engine mods are AEM SRI, Magnaflow Exhaust, and denso spark plugs but i am 100% these parts are not causing the problem. They were installed wayyyyy before it began acting strangely.

Any clue?

i really think your idle should be at 800-900 with a warm engine

600-700 seems kinda low to me

No my idle is fine... i used to idle at 750 with honda oil, but with Mobil 1 it's at 500-600rpm.

Take a peice of paper and hold it near the tailpipe. If it gets sucked toward the pipe in between bursts you may have an obtruction somewhere in the exhaust system (often the cat).

No, it seems fine...the paper doesn't get sucked in.

Maybe i damaged my custom piping and there is a bump along the interior. Hmm...
