When is the right weather to clear headlights?

OKay so I live in IL and i am sort of a newb to doing stuff to my car. Anywho now that that's over with... Right now it is probably about 30-50 deg. where I live and I have read up and really want to clear out my headlights now. Would this cold affefct my ability to clear them? I realize that I would be doing all of the sealing inside, but would the wheather outside make it any difference? Please reply asap Thanks for your help..

anyday is a good day exept rainy or very humid days. just do it infront of your heat or fire place should be good. also use lots of silicone to reseal and if your parenoid, use a hair dryer and heat up the inside b4 reinstalling. its not necessary but you can if you want.

It does not make a difference what kind of weather it is...You will be pulling apart the headlights inside therefore it does not matter if its raining or snowing outside When you take the bumper off bring it inside if you want, as well as the headlights...Get a screwdriver and a hair dryer and get to work

Something else you can do with the blow dryer is use it to dry out your headlights after you put it back together. Just set it up so that you can just leave it running for half an hour just to be safe. Run it through the bulb openings on cool air. I had problems with condensation, but it got better after I did that.

I don't think it matters...just make sure you seal it Tight and Completely. Perfer you to do it in your garage or inside your house.
