head gasket

in the new HCI mag they had this list of 75 tuner tips and one of the tips said that 'honda head gaskets have 3 layers and removing one layer will raise compression'. granted this will just raise compression a very little bit, but do you think this will be harmful for the engine, or will it do anything, and are our (7th gen) civic's head gaskets still 3 layers????

it would raise compression by .005 which is basicly nothing.. yes increase in compresstion does increase hp however u have to add more fuel which our ecm's dont like that and also u must run a high octane bc of detonation.. imo i would not do it
