Paint overspray
hey guys
Just got my car back from the body shop. My sister backed into a 240sx
, hot driver by the way. Anyway, had the bumper repaired, magnaflow cat-back, and altezza grill. My question is the surface was kinda rough, its probably due to paint overspray, how do I smoothe everything out? I want it like the way it was when it came out of the factory.
Thanx,
Rick

If the overspray is on another painted surface, then just remove the overspray with some lacquer thinner. Use a rag and emmerse it in lacquer thinner. Then simply rub the paint blotches off. That works very well for heavy overspray. If it's light, then just use a cleaner wax. I used Mother's to get some mild overspray out. Just rub a dub dub and it'll come out.
