RSX Spoon Rear Strut Tower Brace
Yeah, that's right. I bought one for $145 shipped.
I compared our shock tower setup in the back with the RSX's and they seem identical.
The Spoon Sports RSTB attaches to the two bolts on each side.
Check out the installation on the RSX: Project RSX - Spoon Sports Rear Strut Bar
Since I installed my Progress rear sway bar I've been getting all sorts of squeeks and creeks from the rear while going over bumps that lift one side of the car up in the back and not the other. You experience this all the time, so it's kinda annoying. Plus squeeking and creeking means that the chassis is flexing like a ****. I think the RSTB will solve this problem. At least that's what the people on ClubRSX.com have said when they installed a RSTB and they had 22mm rear sway bars.
Wish me luck!
Of course, DIY will follow upon successful installation.

Yeah, I think the blue thingies are stock? I'm not sure though? Why would Honda make them blue? I know that the Type R has those, but they're not blue. It also has the rear in betwean them, so it's a RSTB. I hope the Spoon Sports RSTB fit right in. It should as far as I can tell. If it does then I'll get a Spoon sticker for it and a Spoon logo for it since it doesn't come with any identifying marks that tells someone that it's a Spoon Sports product.
Yup the spoon RSTB fits like a glove. You do have to dremel tool out the holes for at least my car, but i got the suspension off a DC5 ITR which should of bolted right on, but who knows. Anyways, I dont have pics yet cuz im gonna go pic crazy this weekend cuz i get the car back. So, expect a lot of pics to hit the net soon. And im also thinking the mugen front strut bar but i can get a good price on the spoon one too and its lighter so who knows what ill go with. Ill keep you guys posted. . . .

i have a rear strut bar and no one notices it. the sad part is, I have no back seats! I didn't notice much improvement either, but i do have an rsxs sway bar so maybe that had something to do with it.

if the pic of the bar posted above is the spoon one, why pay more for it? i mean i want spoon and mugen parts too, but it looks liek its built just like the ebay one
if you look at the one installed on the rsx, you can tell its a spoon cause of how the ends are made, you can tell its not the ebay one(if youve ever seen the ebay one),but the one posted above i believe is the ebay one

Yeah, CapYoda posted a pic of the Ebay one for comparison of the mounting location. I posted a link to some pictures of the Spoon RSTB in my first post.

just makin sure, also, i guess the main goal of this post is to prove that the RSX bars( i assume all of them?) will fit our cars, which means an opportunity for better handling performance than can be achieved using the ones advertized for our cars(though it may be merely marginal)

Yeah, sorry dude. Mine hasn't come in yet. I bought it from Import Development. I e-mailed the dudes with my order number and I haven't gotten a response yet. For now, please be wary. Although I've heard good things about them on ClubRSX.com; that's one reason I bought the Spoon Sports RSTB from them, another was the low price.
