did anyone ask honda
im sure this has been posted before.but i couldnt find anything. i wanted to know if an exhaust, intake, and springs would void the warranty on our transmissions.

Seeing that none of those have any bearing on the function of the transmission, I doubt it. It they really thought abstractly, I guess the springs could alter the angle of the drive axles and potentially mess something up, but they would have to prove it with some kind of hard evidence.
I suppose you have to tell us what's wrong with the tranny to get a real good answer.

i asked my honda dealer if an intake would void my warrenty and he said no...nothing that small in hp gains would void it. i would assume the same goes with the exhaust, except your warranty for your muffler and the rest of the exhaust.

i asked my dealer about mods, not necessarilly about voiding warrantees (cause its a leased car) and he said you can mod it (bolt ons) but if you bring the car back with the mods i wont get a refund for the mods that are on the car.
sooooooo...this leads me to believe that they dont really care, as long as its just bolt-ons, and nothing like a turbo or anything substantial.
