BODY KIT question!!!

All right, my front bumper. . .does everyone know the styrafoam (spelling unsure) part that attaches to the front frame? Did anyone have to take that off to fit their aftermarket kit on??? Because i did, and the kit is touching against the frame now. Is that suppose to happen??? or is there suppose to be a gap between that??? Also for the RS grill that attaches to the front bumper. . did you bolt it down with a flat head??

i have the kaminari full bumper, soon to be ex-front, and i left the foam piece too. just tape the foam piece to the metal bumper and then try fitting the nose, thats what i had to do because the foam piece kept on falling off.
