DelSol seats in a 7th gen Coupe

has anybody done this? Is it just a matter of mounting new rails? Let me know. Thanks in advance.

With the del sold being a 5th gen, the seats won't fit. I believe other people have tried to do this and also tried putting in 5th gen civic seats and they didn't fit...

but you can swap rsx,celica seats in fact you can even swap rsx BACK seats

I sat in an Si at the dealer, nice seats, I want those seats with the leather side bolster things. I'm always sliding around. Need more support....[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/IMG]

very true i like the seats but didnt feel like paying the arm and leg Honda was asking for them so i got racing seats, however the 03 EX seats are pretty nice from my understanding

Do they look any different or is there just more support? I think my 02 ex seats are pretty comfy, but those rsx seats are tight!

I don't know about the RSX seats, but the Si seats are completely different from my EX. THe EX seats are fine when driving in a straight line, but the Si seats and probably the RSX seats have more lateral support. They are black with red stitching and I think suede side bolster thingys, nice and grippy.

I have an 03 EX. I can vouch for the seats. They're almost right inbetween the 02's and the new Si seats. They have the side supports like a race seat.

I bought some del sol seats and will be putting them in in about another week. I'm doing some custom work to my interior right now. Right now the seats are getting wrapped in leather. I'll have pics when I'm done with it. But yes you can put del sol seats in our cars.

If you think the 03 interior is a nice upgrade, take a look at the dash cluster. My girlfriend has an 02 and now we're tying to figure out if the pinouts are the same so we can stuff an 03 cluster into hers. They look much nicer

Rufus if you find a way to do the cluster let me know because i love that cluster....but from what i heard the connecting plugs in the back are totally diff......but.....where there is a will theres a way.........or..........where theres a dollar theres a way!

Putting some delsol seats is as easy as putting any other kind of seats in our car....the job is the same you just have to custom made some new bracket to hold the seat in the car...the sliders that come with the OEM seats are just ok as long as they are in the front! I installed some celica GTS seats in my car and they are the best I've found for everything from comfort to look!!!!! If you have any question on how to do it just pm me I'll try to help you with it!!!
