Anyone who has installed a rear camber kit.

I need a diy on installing an ingalls rear camber kit. Also do i have to have it tightened to a specific torque? And last, How do i know what to set the camber to when I thread the two pieces together? Im confused and could use some assistance.

check in the "tech forum" for a thread with all of Grey's diys. He has one for the rear and front. Simply unbolt the rear oe part and bolt in the new one. It's 3 bolts and just tighten them up by feel. You don't need to support the hub or anything. When you remove the oe part the hub will move upwards about an inch or so.

If you are sitting pretty negative, take the stock piece and place it side by side with the new part. Make the new part about a 1/4" longer than the oe part. It's just a a turnbuckle. Then, install it and take it to an alignment shop.

EDIT: Here is your link for the diy.

There really isn't any way to know where to set the turnbuckle at to get the camber w/i spec. You can put the wheels on and try to do it by sight if ya want. I am a firm believer in leaving alignments to the pros. It's kinda hard to do it w/o the proper equipment.

Hey man, Thanks for the link and advice, you saved the day. It was very easy to install. I used the diy and everything went fine. I didnt even need an air gun. the bolts came right off. The only weird part is when i pulled the bolts off, the drum fell a few inches DOWN. But it worked.
Thanks again bud.

Weird...I don't know why it went down.

Maybe it's because of the springs or something. I have neuspeed sports and a sedan. I am thinking it was the springs.

Anyhow, glad to hear everything worked out ok.
