Brembo cross-drilled/slotted rotors?
Brembo cross-drilled/slotted rotors?
Anybody know where I can buy a pair of these online? This guy says he got them for $119! They look pretty sweet, and I can't find a pair that are cross drilled AND slotted anywhere.
Thanks!

The ones that are crossdrilled and slotted are 3rd party machined brembo blanks. They are not the same as the Brembo-made rotors which are Crossdrilled OR Slotted. Group buy center usually has them... I wouldn't trust em. I just don't like the idea of someone milling stuff out of brake rotors that arent supposed to be machined like that. I'd just spend the extra little money to get the real ones. (The real ones are about $160) and have a warranty on them (the 3rd party ones may or may not depending on who did them).

That's my ride! I can't find the specific place that I got them from. I did get them from the Group Buy Center though. I've had them for over a year and 15,000 miles. No problems with them. No warping, no cracking. They're cross-drilled and slotted. The cross-drilling did not go through the internal fins (very important). The holes were also chamfered (kinda important). The whole rotor was also zinc coated. There's little rust on it now, although it does have some. The wheel mounting surface is rather clean at least. That price is correct too, I got them for $119 shipped.
I was going to get Brembo drilled/slotted rotors too... until I did some research and found this: long-*** thread on slotted/drilled rotors. There's a lot of info there, with links to even more info.
Now, I think I'm just gonna get some Brembo blanks to go with my AEM pads. I'm convinced now that for daily street driving, there is no real advantage to having drilled/slotted rotors, except for looks. And with blanks, you don't have to worry about compromising the integrity of your rotor, as well as premature pad wear from it rubbing against drilled/slotted surfaces.
If you're not convinced and still want to go with drilled/slotted stuff, at least do what Boilermaker says : go with the ones that Brembo drills (or slots) themselves.
(BTW, Grey: thanks for all the info you gave me earlier on this subject
