Koni Yellows - Direct Replacement of Stock Shocks?
Just a quick question regarding the Koni Yellows. Do they require any modification to install or is it just a direct replacement with the stock shock? I just ordered Neuspeeds and figure that I might as well replace the shocks while everything is out. I know that replacing the struts requires some hack job but just hoping that the shocks do not.

yeah, what they said.
however, to clear up any possible confusion:
our cars have struts and springs at all 4 corners: MacPherson coil-over-strut in the front, and regular coil-over-strut in the rear. A shock is a shock-absorber that is mounted independantly of the spring, and a strut is one mounted with the spring "coiled over" it, such as in our cars.
so really, you are buying 4 struts from Koni, the 2 front of which are only strut cartridges and the stock lower portion must be gutted of the old strut components, and the Koni cartridge is inserted. the rear Koni struts are bolt on, requiring no modification other than any upper mounts, bump stops and dust covers from the stock assembly, as well as a new spring.
