KONI QUESTION
What did everyone cut there front struts too, the diy says 40 mm, and the directions say 7mm thats a big differece, so what did all of u do?
GOOD THING YOU POSTED THIS...HERE IS YOUR ANSWER...... straight from the KONI guy...

Laurence,
We do not have a complete front struts available for the 2001 Civic. The
installation is not difficult if you take your time and work through the
instructions carefully. A general English write-up of the instructions can be
found on our website at
LINKAGE TO BETTER INSTRUCTIONS
This will be the same as your installation except for step four. In the
instructions included with the inserts, you have to
-Measure the distance from the top of the strut insert to the bumps on the side
of the insert
-Take this measurement and subtract 7mm from it. This is the amount that you
need to take off from the top of the factory strut.
If you have any other questions about the installation, please let me know.
Thanks.
Gordon
