Blown Strut? My Car Is Touching The Ground!

WUT THE HELL! Okay, again, I let a girl drive my car, and again something bad happens. There was a pot hole on the ramp off the highway, and of coarse she didn't see it on time. Then I hear my car dragging right after. When I get to my destination, my car is so low on the back left that you can't see anything of the tire from the tip of the wheel. I have ground control coilovers, the coupe version, and 1 finger gap is as high as it went. Well, I read about people blowing struts, and they seem like theyre fine driving it, just gotta get used to it. Well with my situation, on any unlevel surface I'm scraping like hell, even on the street. Do you guys think it's my struts still? If it is, I'm gonna have to get Koni's, but I really don't have the money right now. Don't have a job anymore, so I was just thinking I could get 1 or 2 koni's in the back. What's the cheapest price for Koni's these days? It would be great if someone could get me a link so I can price match it through my local car shop. I really hope they have some in stock cuz my car is pretty undriveable right now. My kit is slowly wearing away

you didn't blow a strut...the springs hold the height of the car..not the shock/strut..either she cracked either the spring..the spring perch, or a connecting arm...

Thanks Mohawk. Is this something that Meineke or Midas can fix, or do I need some OEM Honda Parts?

you should probably jack it up and see for yourself what's wrong...before you take it someplace...might be something you can fix yourself

Sounds like the warranty should cover that, as long as its under the mileage limit.

He has ground control coil things...no suspension warranty...

Definately not a shock issue as they don't support the car like Mo said. Jack her up and see what happened. Something most likely broke on the GCs.

I might just swap back in the stock springs in the back then, cuz my front isnt that low, and I prefer the back to be higher anyways. Leaving for the shop now. Finally gonna get a diagnosis.
