Question

So we know since the stock tire is 185/65/15, my tire is a 215/40/17, so the tire rolls 2 percent faster. How much will this really make my odo off? Is there anyway to correct it? I have a friend that works at a tranny shop and could perform any work done to get the odo more accurate.

I think the ECU itself has the tire diameter programmed in. You'de have to re-program the ECU. I'm not sure, but I think the JET chip re-program of your stock ECU takes care of that. Better call them up and ask them though. That's why I roll on 215/45-17's; bigger diameter than stock means the mileage is adding up slower than it would stock.
