If they have the new AEM V2 CAI's for auto's then get that. If not, then get an Injen. The Injen has a better design than the original CAI from AEM IMO. Talking about CAI's of course...

Injen CAI all the way!!!! The inside of the intake tube is completely smooth unlike AEM. Air flows better. Just swap the filter with a K&N filter.

What are you talking about? AEMs are as smooth as Injen inside if not better!

I'd say go with Injen CAI because the filter sits on the bumper, and not next to the engine.

Absolutely not! When I was buying one and I was undecisive, this guy that works at the shop that I go to said to go with the Injen. I asked why and he showed me the two compared side by side. Inside the tube on the AEM is slightly coarse as for the Injen, completely smooth. I even used my fingers to feel the difference. Injen=much more smooth. Smooth=better air flow

Actually, that's a myth. Little bumps inside are good for airflow. Thanks to a property called laminar flow the air has less resistance to flow from the walls of the intake. It's like the air fills in the dimples and then it stays in there. Then air on top of it flows better since the resistence to flow betwean air and air is less than the resistance to flow betwean air and the walls of the intake. The term port and polish also confuses people. The polishing in a P&P is only cleaning up really rough edges. Slightly roughened walls are actually good for airflow. Same reason why a golf ball has dimples.

Damn. I've just been owned. LOL Thanks for clearing that up though. I can admit when I'm wrong.

I never actually thought about the whole golf ball thing.

K3wl. Yeah, I didn't even think about that until recently. Then the whole golf ball thing made sense.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but AEM isn't making V2 CAI's for autos...

The automatics work better with a short ram intake.
Id go for the K & N FIPK II.

most hp gains and dyno tested 14-16 hp. 22ft/lbs of torque on
the EX.

Beats out AEM

14-16 hp gain on EX. That is BS. Be happy if you get 6 hp on any intake.

eh.

they're just pipes and filters.

get which ever u can get for the cheaper price.

dont waste money on SRI which gives you worse performance. (except, perhaps, the K&N FIPK)

AEM's CAI doesnt' fit auto due to its design

InJen's does... but comes with a pricetag.

the stock throttle body doesnt' flow that much to begin with anyway.
