Product Search - Fresnel Lens for the top of windshield

OK, I'm looking for a product I once saw in the "Baubles & Bolt Ons" section for an Audi TT review in either Car & Driver or MotorTrend.

This product is a fresnel lens (flat piece of plastic that redirects light) that sticks to the top of the windshield and allows the driver to see traffic lights higher than the roof-line. (tall people in short cars would have this problem). Eh, I can try and elaborate more, but I'll see what kind of responses I get first.

Edit:
Found it!

Actually it's for my Dad. He was complaining about not being able to see the traffic lights in his SLK230. If he would just drive with the top down all the time, he wouldn't have this problem.

I just ordered two. One for me, and one for my Dad for his b-day.

Thats actually kind of a cool idea. There are quite a few intersections around my area where the light is directly over the stop line, so you have to stop way back just to see, it, or try and come through the windsheild to look up and see it.

Good Call man ......

I got it from their website. http://www.lightinsight.com/. $12.50 each, plus S&H.

I'll post a review on this thread once I get the thing.

whoo hoo! I just got mine in the mail today. Here's a pic to give everyone an idea of the size. I'll post a review after I've installed it and used it for a little bit.

i dun get it... in toronto.. our street lights are on the other side of the intersection... so there's no way you'll stop under a light.... or out of sight...maybe your city's system is different...
