I saw a new Z on the road

Saw the new Z-car on the road today here in milwaukee. It was an orangish gold color and man did it look good. I could not believe the guy was driving it though. It just snowed here a little last week and as usual the city salted like mad. I know he was excited about getting the car and driving it but now he has to wash it (if he even cares) so the paint clearcoat will not get damaged. Tell you what if it was my car it would only see clear, precipitation free days in the summer and spring. It would spend wet days and winters in a heated garage.

Yea, I saw one while I was down in Atlanta for Thanksgiving. I really didn't like the looks in mags and such but after seeing it in person, my opinion has drastically changed. I don't like the looks of the interior but haven't sat in one yet. Definately have a lot better opinion of the car since I saw one in real life.

I raced one of those orange ones at hwy 100 recently. I wonder if it's the same guy. ??

(he needs a few driving lessons, or his car has to break in, cuz he lost by a couple lengths to 120)

I raced a silver one twice at the street races on 81st/bradley and beat him both times, but only by a foot or two.

And I lost to a black one on a freeway roll by about a car length to 130....

I'm such a race *****. Someone take my car away from me.

By the way, do either of you go to hwy 100? I've been there the last 2 weeks in a row with several other S2000's. Top down of course, cuz we're nuts.

They are all over out here. The interior I will say feels better than it looks. The telescoping wheel and short (mean SHORT) throw is increadable. One of the 350Zs here has the Injen cold air intake, 18 inch OZ racing rims, and CF stuff man than thing is pretty. The G35 sport coupe is honeslty a 350 with a back seat and a little more power. Either way I wouldn't mind driving either.

Everyday there is a 350Z that just chills by this music shop by my house, never moves. Still has the dealers tag and window papers, I think they just drove it there straight from the dealership and left it. Before the 350Z there was a Toyota MR2 Spyder and an Acura NSX that were always there. I'd just drive over there and admire the cars. I'd take better care of them he/she should give them to me.

Ok, everyone is seeing them everywhere. Have any of you actually taken a test drive? I HAVE! hah! I was actually going to be trading in for one next week but decided that 3 more years of payments would set me too far back since i want to move out of my parents house within a year or so. But definitely the touring model for around 34k is absolutely amazing. That car just picks up and goes. But yes, next to an s2000 its really a pretty fair coin flip. (Referring to past threads about 2000 vs. 350z) Only thing that would draw me towards the s2000 is the convertible, but next year the 350z will have a soft top option so ill just have to wait and see how that works out. Maybe next year when i get my next raise ill go back in and talk some numbers with the dealer again. Until then, watch out cuz project turbo has started.........

i've seen a few new 350Z's on the road, i like them, and now that i heard on maxima.org that a supercharger is going to be developed for the 3.5L VQ series engine, i really want one. this new supercharger is suppose to give a 35-40% HP increase AND it comes with a warranty!!!! 3 year 36 month i think, isn't that cool? my next car will be a base 350Z, silver, with black interior, supercharger, and diamond audio stereo, if i get that, i will be in heaven
anyways, on a side note, i saw a 2k3 accord coupe on the road a few days ago, black, with tint, DAMN IT LOOKED HOT!!!! i saw it coming on the opposite side of the street, and thought it was another sedan ( after all, the fronts of both look similar ), but as it got closer, i noticed the two doors, then as it went by, i turned and saw the rear, man was it nice. lol...i almost ran a stop sign because i was too busy starring at the accord.
btw, is it just me, or are there A LOT of the new hummer H2's on the road? every time i go out, i see one, how come there are so many people driving $55K SUV's all the sudden?

Me and my friends have a saying about hwy 100.

People in really nice cars don't ever get pulled over there. (no offense to those who've been pulled over there)

That has always been true, and I've NEVER been pulled over in my S2k. Even on nights that they are marking cars and pulling them over for cruising, I get ignored by cops as they pull over every other car around me.

Last week I saw a Nissan 350Z pulled over.

hehe. ahem. nuff said. lol

Personally I would take the Nissan over the Honda any day but that is me. The new Accord is freaking nasty. It looks way to much like a Saturn. Plus those damn cars are a dime a dozen out here. So are the new H2s as well.

s2000 is just a wannabe bmw.

why does people talk trash around other cars anyway? unless you are completely unsatisfied with your ride, no need to trash others.
