need opinion on pricing for my springs & camber kit being installed
ok i call this shop known for installing springs and camber kit and the guy quoted me 160 to install my springs and camber kit and was wondering if thats too much or not? because i know after i have my camber kit on i will need to get it aligned correctly, but my second option is to go down to another shop about 1 hr away and they told me they would only install my springs for 80 bucks and that a alignment shop will install my camber kit and then align it but i havent got a price for how much it would cost a alignment shop tp install my camber kit so basically my question is 160 to much for both my springs and camber kit being put on? or should i travel and only get my springs installed for 80 bucks then find a alignment shop near them to install my camber kit? thanks guys and gals =]
From what I've heard around these posts and various threads thats about right!! Most people assume about $70 for springs and about $100 for your camber kit. Everyone here seems to suggest doing the camber kit yourself and then taking it to a shop to have it aligned, thus saving some $$$$$. The thread that shows you how to install the camber kit can be found in either the suspension and performance forum or the tech stuff forum. Look under Camber Q, if you are searching in the "suspension performance" forum. I that is what the topic is. If you read through a few of the threads you'll find a link that Grey posted on how to do it. I'm contemplating doing it myself also. So the shop won't install them and align them for you. You have to have it done at different places or what?
