what do you peeps prefer?

pro5 banana wagon or civic SiG(non-veloz)?

i wanted the yellow bananawagon but my parents didn't like it....it's 8cm shorter than a civic and quite a bit of space seems to be taken up by the engine compartment...
also, the trunk was rather small(well, i consider it small cause the space above the removable deck is pretty much useless to me as large heavy items can knock out the windows....)

i still liked the looks of the pro5....its MSRP price for was almost the same as the SiG....

I like the looks of the civic too but civics are pretty common in Vancouver.... plus i previously had a 7th gen LX coupe before...the civic engine also groans quite loud at anything above 2500rpm....

at the end i chose the SiG because parents wont agree to a bananawagon ....my only other choices were a 1.7EL base model(pretty much equiv to the SiG), 03 corolla, or base model ugly azz rav4...

anyways, I love the SiG but I always still wonder what it'll be like if I owned a pro5....anyone wanna lend one to me for a day??hehe

yeah, i see quite a few girls with the pro5....doesn't bother me that it's sorta a chick car....

btw, girls driving suped up cabrios are such a turn on
they look so cute in those tiny lil cars....

j/k, But if the console isn't too weird, I would've got it.

get a used Impreza or BMW
or if u want a new car, go for P5 or Aerio (:barf

or get a old Porsche

if you're looking into modding your car, i'd get a 2000 SiR (or Si for US). there are millions of aftermarket parts out there. i would have gotten a '99 electron blue Sir but mileage was a bit high, so i went for the 02 lx manual. it was new and cheaper by 2 grand. downside is, you'd be part of millions of modded 6th gen civics out there.

ya.. i drove from toronto to vancouver.
actually, it is cheaper in that way..
because if i fly~~
that is $550 for flying ticket(return) and i have to ship the car by train. that is additional $800 and another $800 for return...
but if i drive, last time it cost me less than $400 for going to vancouver...
that was including food, gas, accomodation and everything...
but when i came back to toronto for school..
i left my civic at home... letting my sister driving it...
i drove from toronto to calgary straightly only taking 3 hour rest..
i left toronto at 11 in the moring and got to calgary in second day at 10 in the evening.
i left calgary about 7 in the morning and got vancouver at 3 in the afternoon...
it was killing my whole body....
i decided not to do that again...
but i have to that next year...
think about driving 3 days continuously..

anyways, i will be having a car again soon...
i am going vancouver in 6 days after test and when i come back i will ship my civic or other car that i might buy when i get into vancouver.
this time, i am shipping it because it is crazy to drive in winter time....

if u want something that is really reliable, u can get a 97-99 integra GSR...........

if u want to go fast.....get a 94-95 integra GS, and put a turbo in.....
or civic swap

here are some engine's price, or here

not sure how much it will all cost......but should be under 20000

u drive alot so i recomand a confy car, so a domestic, but the only domestic that is worth anything at that price is a neon, or the sx i think is what they call it now, as for imports, good value for money would be a corolla, but there isnt alot u can mod on that. the protoge5 is nce, although a bit over priced.
to sum it up here are you choices

sunfire
cavalier
neon
sentra
corolla
echo
accent
focus
lancer
protoge
protoge5
