Here's a link to the rim: pic

I have a friend that's willing to sell his wheels + tires to me for $600.

17 inch, 8000 miles, and rotated every 1000 miles...

i wanna powder coat them gunmetal, but I don't know where to go for that so I'll deal with that later on.

Is this a good deal?

o yeah tires are 205/40/17

Well, you can get this same set up, brand new, at Whalentire.com for $796 + shipping. You be the judge.

keep in mind tires cost alot too... 8k is like 1/3 of the tires life

as for powder coating.. any powder coating shop should be able to do it.. i think this shop near me charges $35 per wheel... i would say dont pay any more then $50 tho

The price sounds pretty decent to me....I bought my Enkei's when they first came out early this year from Discount Tire and they ran me almost $1200 for 17's with Nitto 450's...so yeah I'm never buying new models again
