What brand and model of aftermarket clutch is anyone using?
i have seen the ACT clutch kits. very nice. is it worth it to get the ss over the 00? they both hold the same amount of torque. big differnce in price, due to the difference in disc materials... but has anyone tried clutch masters or any other brand? there must be something out there other than ACT, if the ACT states the clutch is the same from the 92-01 models, SOHC, i would expect to be able to buy another brand based on this information.
yeah, i believe it was nitehawk who confirmed that flywheels and clutches for older civics are compatible with our 2k1's. exedy for another good clutch brand (although act is really GOOD) and try jun for a lightened flywheel.

The ACT for our car is the exact same as the previous generation Civic.
I have the Extreme Pressure Plate with Street Disc, and it's great. No more clamp delay, holds the power from the turbo with no problem. Installation was a ***** though.
