Selling My Civic

I've decided to sell my Civic after the whole Christmas season is over with. Probably around February. I hate paying so much dang money for a car. I am going to sell it back to my dealer and get a decent used car. Probably another Civic. Maybe an Accord. Its been fun. See you all around.

civicdude will become famous soon enough
If your going to get rid of your civic, you will get more money if you sell it privately. If you trade it in you are going to get a really low amount back. If you are going to get something cheaper with little or no payment then I suggest you get a 5th gen or a 6th gen civic from a private owner. Just make sure you have the car checked out by a liscenced mechanic. Also then you can buy the car for cash and you wont have a payment. If you decide to buy a car from a dealer that is used, they are mostly auction cars or off leases. You are better off buying a used car from a person...instead of buying it at the dealer. From the dealer you dont know what you are getting, plus you are always paying more.

If you have low Km's and are getting a cheaper vehicle you may be able to get into the vehicle from the dealer without having to pay for it - I've done it once before - And you can do VIN searches and get the history of the vehicle if you don't trust the dealer, but not all dealers are dishonest. Good luck ......

mm..i sold my 2k1 privately and only lost $900. Then picked up my 97 ex for just under 8,000 and it only had 42,000 miles on it put 3,000 down and my payments a month are nothing...more $$$ for mods.
